Spin Strong

Spin Strong brings the benefits of jump rope exercise to everyone. Jumping rope is some of the most effective exercise available, and it’s the most efficient. It burns more calories than most cardio training approaches.

Spin Strong, with its patented fin-cords mechanism, eliminates the difficulties of jumping over a rope. So, now everyone can enjoy this highly beneficial workout. With complete freedom of movement for arms and legs, Spin Strong opens up a world of exercise possibilities.

It’s been said that necessity is often the mother of invention; sometimes a push is needed to come up with a great idea. For Phillip Davis, a Parkinson’s Disease diagnosis in 2010 provided the inspiration needed to develop the Spin Strong.

Spin Strong trainers are new and highly effective air resistance-based fitness trainers. They are the first portable trainers that are based on rotational air resistance like a jump rope. Instead of a restrictive jump rope, they have a pair of air-catching fin cords and total freedom of movement.

Phillip Davis is an inventor who loved exercising and playing golf. After his Parkinson’s diagnosis, Davis said he started to lose the strength to play golf or work out. He designed the Spin Strong to try and regain some of that lost strength.

“I originally designed Spin Strong to help people like myself,” said Davis. “After using the Spin Strong for just a few months, I was stronger and had more endurance. My functional performance also significantly improved.”

Since you don’t have to jump as high as needed for jumping over a rope, Davis and others can get a full workout. The invention provides such a wide range in usage intensity and additional exercises, it fits the needs of all users.

As it turns out, Spin Strong has a wide range of resistance levels and many capabilities. They can be used by anyone and not only for an upper body workout. They can be combined with a wide variety of leg exercises for high intensity full body training. And they are the new way to “jump rope”, where you never make a mistake and are like an instant expert. They require only a small amount of space and are inexpensive.

Short Game Gains

Short Game Gains is a Golf Practice Aid company that specializes in tools to help you improve faster. The SGG products are tested and used by some of the best players and coaches in the world. Not only do their unique products help a player to improve their technique, but also make practice more effective and enjoyable.

Co-founders Fredrik Lindblom and Hannah Gregg both had successful college careers with aspirations to play the game professionally. They operate their business out of Phoenix, Arizona and spend time working on their games, and caddying for each other in competitive events and qualifiers.

Over the last year, professional golfers, social media influencers and power couple Hannah Gregg and Fredrik Lindblom have been working hard to grow a line of training aides to help the average amateur improve their golf game.

Their hard work is paying off.

The duo gathered data from players on the PGA Tour, Symetra, Korn Ferry and other mini tours to create a line of products called Short Game Gains. Their mission was to take the tools that they loved and saw frequently in the bags of other pros, and upgrade them- creating a super powered line of golf training tools that would actually make players better.

For any entrepreneur, it is important to take your idea and create something that solves a problem. According to Lindblom, this is why Short Game Gains has been so helpful to amateurs and pros alike. “You will notice that our product offerings are simple, easy to understand and efficient. That’s the point; we are trying to offer aids that improve skill and provide feedback without gimmicks or confusion,” he said.

At the heart of the brand, the products designed to help players with the three core skills of putting; speed, consistency of stroke, and start line (or read). Included in the Strokes Gained Bundle are the Accurate Aim Kit, the Putting Mirror, Ghost Holes, Start Line String, and Cup Reducers.

“Each one of these is designed to help golfer develop better fundamentals, whether it’s green reading, speed and start lines, or aim. These are the core elements of putting and we know that they help players reduce scores” said Lindblom.

There is very good science to back this up. Researchers have demonstrated that practice is about spacing and adding contextual feedback to deliberate practice to create better practice. According to Hannah, “Short Game skills are learned. These tools give you instant feedback on things like clubface at address, at impact, and after impact. We added features to like the Start Line Ruler because these tools are designed to teach you what your tendencies are instantly, and then to help you fix them.”

Anyone who follows Lindblom or Gregg on social media know that they’re REALLY working hard. Photos show them packing and shipping products on their own.

Stretch your body, stretch your game

Most amateur players struggle to find time to play golf, let alone practice. Many players, when they do get a tee time, are hustling from the parking lot to the first tee with very little warm up time. That’s something of a recipe for disaster.

Stretching is the best way to ensure your muscles stay flexible, strong and healthy. The golf swing is not a natural movement, and requires proper alignment of muscles and joints to stay on a correct plane of motion.

Without stretching, muscles can become shortened and tight over time and with each swing of the club. Once muscles are no longer in proper alignment, you are at risk of herniated disks, back strain, shoulder injuries, golfer’s elbow, and knee injury. Incorporating a regular stretching routine is the best way to ensure muscle balance and protect the body from injury.

At its core, Dynamic Golfers is a stretching and mobility program. Subscribers have access to an ongoing series of video routines, laid out in a monthly format. Complete one routine per day and the program will continue to build and offer new routines that improve flexibility. Each routine is roughly 15 minutes and is time well spent.

Coupled with the stretching and mobility program is a strength training program. The three weekly routines focus on muscle balance that works on stability and strengthening some of the supporting muscles that may be a weak link in the golf swing. These routines require minimal equipment and take less than 30 minutes to complete.

Dynamic Golfers responded to requests from subscribers and developed several short warm up routines for players to take to the course. The warm up routines are designed to properly warm up a golfers spine, legs, and arms.

The Dynamic Golfers program launched in 2019 in Kelowna, British Columbia by physical therapists who saw more and more patients suffering from golf injuries. They developed their program with the goal of helping golfers improve consistency, boost their club head, and play pain free.

New users can try the program free for seven days. It’s available for download www.dynamicgolfers.com.
